Kalithea Springs is located between the two holiday resorts, Kalithea and Faliraki, in the northern part of Rhodes.

Kalithea Springs is a spa, which dates all the way back to the classical Antiquity, but the current facilities were built by the Italians in 1929. After a thorough renovation, the beautiful facilities reopened as a museum with an adjoining beach in the summer of 2007.

Kalithea Springs beach
The beach in Kalithea Springs is fairly small, but it is peaceful and the surroundings are very beautiful.

The beach is located in a bay with sun lounges on both sides. On the one side, there is also a restaurant/café.

The beach is a mixture of sand, gravel and pebbles. The water is shallow and usually completely calm.

When the entrance fee to Kalithea Springs is paid, the sun lounges are free. Other facilities include showers, changing facilities and toilets.

Child friendliness
There is limited room to play, but the sand is okay for children and the water is very child-friendly.

Water sports activities
None, the beach is completely peaceful. The snorkelling conditions are good.

Beach restaurants
On the right side of the beach, there is a lovely restaurant/café with an excellent view of the bay.

Kalithea town
The town of Kalithea is located a few kilometres away. It is a small holiday resort with a relaxed atmosphere, a small selection of restaurants, cafés and a few shops.

South of Kalithea Springs, you'll find Faliraki, the largest holiday resort in Rhodes.
